About Product:

·         Fipronova is a systemic and contact insecticide offered by Berrysun Agro.

·         It is highly systemic and can be taken up by roots as well as leaves.

·         It moves acropetally through xylem and kills the hidden borers inside the stem.

·         It is applied after transplanting of paddy or on other crops at early stages as root application.

Fipronova Technical Details:

·         Technical Name: Fipronil 0.30% GR   

·         Category: Insecticides.

·         Toxicity: Yellow      .

·         Mode of Entry : systemic and contact.                             

·         Mode of Action:

·         It acts on the nervous system of insects by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs), causing paralysis and death of the insect after feeding.

Key Features and Benefits:

·         Fipronova Fipronil 0.3% GR is longer and persistent in irrigated conditions.

·         It has phytotonic effect impacting crop health.

·         It is recommended on Paddy, Wheat, and Sugarcane on stem borer, leaf folder, termites and borers.

Recommended Crops, Pests & Dosage:

·         Rice (Paddy): Controls stem borer, brown plant hopper (BPH), green leafhopper, rice leaf folder, gall midge, white-backed plant hopper, and whorl maggot.

Dosage: 6–10 kg per acre.

·         Sugarcane: Controls early shoot borer and root borer.

Dosage: 10–13 kg per acre.

·         Wheat: Controls termites.

Dosage: 8 kg per acre.
