About Product:

·         Pre-emergence Control- When applied immediately after sowing/planting, it controls weeds before they emerge.

·         Systemic Soil Action- Remains in the soil and gets absorbed by the roots and shoots of the weeds and stops their growth.

·         Effective for Rice- Gives good control of narrow and broadleaf weeds in paddy (transplanted & direct seeded rice).

·         Technical Name - Pretilachlor 37% EW

·         Category: Herbicides.

·         Mode of Entry : systemic  (Selective Herbicide)

Mode of Action:

·         Pretilachlor is absorbed primarily through the shoots of emerging weeds. It inhibits cell division and elongation, effectively preventing weed emergence and growth in the early stages.

 

Key Features and Benefits:

·         Powerful Pre-Emergence Control - Controls grass before it emerges, keeping the field clean for the first 20–30 days.

·         Systemic Soil Action - Absorbed by the roots and shoots of weeds, inhibiting internal growth.

·         Broad Spectrum Weed Control - Effectively controls narrow leaf (grass) and some broadleaf weeds, especially rice.

·         Selective for Rice Crops - Safe for rice crops (at the recommended dose), but causes damage to weeds.

Recommended Crops,  Weeds  & Dosage:

·         Target Crop: Transplanted Rice (Paddy).

·         Target Weeds: Echinochloa colonum, E. crusgalli, Cyperus difformis, C. iria, Digitaria sanguinalis, Fimbristylis miliaceae, Eclipta alba, Ludwigia parviflora, Monochoria vaginalis.

·         Dose: 600-750 ml per acre.

Method of Application:   Apply 0-5 days after transplanting as a pre-emergence spray.
